Rashes

Franklin_-13A rash is a condition where the skin usually becomes red and often has symptoms of itching.  It may be localized or involve the entire skin surface.  Rashes may be bumpy, blistery, or flat.  They may show welt-like swellings, known as hives.  Some rashes are painful. At our office, we identify rashes by their appearance and by asking pertinent questions about the patient’s history and symptoms. The causes, and therefore treatments for rashes, vary widely, most require prescription medications.
